The project embodies the synergy of parametric design and environmental logic, resulting in a facade that responds to wind and solar radiation. The process began by mapping radiation values onto the building’s facade, generating a guiding curve that informed the decomposition and design strategies.

Using parametric scripting, various surface formations and panel configurations were explored, enabling precise control over patterns and gradients. The final design features three types of perforated metal panels, meticulously crafted and varied to create dynamic surface conditions. These panels, measuring 600mm x 3600mm, are arranged within a modular grid, with their positioning guided by the facade’s defining curve.

This innovative facade not only enhances environmental performance but also represents a marriage of computational precision and architectural creativity, demonstrating how data-driven design can redefine aesthetics and functionality.
